Time To Remove Front Diff

How long would it take to remove the front diff so I can have someone change gears?

 

I got air tools, tall jack stands, good floor jacks...etc...

When I did the front diff axle seals, it took me a total of 2.5 hours. This included removal of the front diff. Now I did have use of a lift. So I would have to guesstimate that it will take you approx 2 hours on the ground.

i did mine about 2 months ago. it took about 30 min to get it out. Disconnect the vacuum line, wires, cv's and remove the connecting rod. Pretty simple. I also found it cheaper and much easier to replace the diff entirely with a junkyard one than it was to rebuild it. not sure how much is involved with the front diff gears and shimming.
