Looking For A Good Performance Shop In Phoenix

I'm new to the forum. I recently bought a used 99 Suburban 1500 4WD with a 5.7 to pull behind my motorhome. It is in nice shape and I'd like to make it into a bit of a sleeper. It has 125k miles on the body, but the engine and transmission were replaced at 100k with GM rebuilds. The engine ticks a little in the right rear top end, it has an injector leaking, and it may have a small head gasket leak. Rather than fix these things I'l like to find a shop that can wring a little fun out of the old girl.

I have had a couple of recent Savannas that I used for pulling (5.3 and a 6.0), but I confess I really know the old Ford FE engines better than these newer GMs (I have a restored 69 F100 4WD with a 410 in it for my fun ride).

I have had Speedsports in Mesa recommended to me. Any suggestions (I am staying in Fountain Hills and would prefer the east end but it is not the major consideration).

If you can find a shop ran by Bud Pickens, I would say to go there. He is an old drag racer and worked at a Chev house for years and then opened his own shop in Mesa or Tempe. If he is still around he would be the best bet. Good luck. :uhoh:
