275/55/20 Grapplers On 3" Body Lift?

i am about to have my shop order and install a 3" PA body lift for me. i currently have a 2" leveling kit on my 08 Sierra ext cab. i have 20" xd badlands with 18mm backspacing on 275/55/20 nitto terra grapplers.

i got the rims and tires when i got the leveling kit put on, they only have about 5000 miles on them. my question is, will they look out of place on a 3" body lift? i dont want to dish out more money for a bigger set of 33's until these at least wear out, or i can trade them.

let me know your opinions or if you have any pics of trucks on that size tires.

thanks a bunch

--i also posted this in suspension mods, but figured id get a ton more hits on here--

i ran 275/55/20s with just a 3" bl...no leveling kit though. it looked pretty good.

as a matter of fact i plan on going down to 275/60/20s when my 305/55s wear out (if they ever do....they're wearing better than expected)

they will look fine on a 3" body lift.. those tires are plenty big.. they are the same i have only i have the stock goodyear eagle ls2's.. that might look a little funny having 5" in the front with stock tires on the 20's but i think it would look fine until you get some 33's on it.

f&*( the haters dude.

Sweet. Will the body lift push the wheels in/out any? Stupid question but just curious....

No effect on tire positioning. I have the 275/60r20 with a level and 1.5 BL and think they look just a tad too small. I was wondering if anyone ever tried to fit the 275/65r20's (34's) on with what I have. That's what I would run if possible with your setup. See if you can find some info on it, I'd be curious as well to see if they'd fit.

Edit : Yes I believe the 32's would look too small with a level and 3" BL. Just sell the tires you have now, that's what I did. I only had 7k on my eagle LS2's and sold them to a neighbor for 400 cash, net spent was 500 for new tires mounted and balanced and an alignment.

The wider wheels and +18mm offset will help some... if they were on stock wheels i'd say they'd definitely look too small.

Don't get me wrong, i think it'll look like it deserves bigger tires, but i dont think it'll look horrible.

Here's how mine was with the 3" bl and 275/55/20s, my wheels were 8.5" wide but unfortunately they were +30mm offset
