Spark Plugs And Exaust Tips...

Im getting Catback exaust done in a few weeks and I want to see pictures of anyones truck that has duals out of the corners of the back bumper. I need to decided if I like it that way before I call and make the appt. I was also wondering if anyone has tried those sparkplugs like the E3 ones? I heard they are supposed to give better fuel mileage and more power, but I was looking to hear if they really do from someone who has them. Thanks Guys.

It's been discussed many times, and it seems as though the E3's are junk. Most stick with ACDeldo plugs and wires. I might have some random pictures of my exhaust somewhere.

Yea thats what I figured. I always like using ACDelco stuff and hardly ever buy aftermarket anymore unless I have to. Those Exaust pics would be great! :dunno:

Here are some "accidental" exhaust pics. The tips are messed up at the moment due to some current exhaust projects, so they're suspended by wire and all uneven.

The guy that did mine said it looks cool in cold weather if they come out the side and sound bounces off other cars and sounds little cooler, lol.

I used to drive through a construction zone everyday that had temporary cement barriers along the left shoulder and you could hear the exhaust bouncing off the walls pretty nicely.

Thats a really good point too. Ive always had mine out the back, but I was looking to do something different. I guess I'll figure out for sure tomorrow when I go see the exaust shop...

Why not try running them out the side in front of the rear tires on an angle?

Here's my setup:

I like them out the back because they stay clean easier and don't get pitted as bad.

What kit is that? I always thought that with the dual exhaust out back you have to remove the spare tire........

It all depends on the kit. My Dynomax kit and Summit Turbo exhaust kit that I had on my 03 Silverado did not need the spare tire removed. This was due to the use of 2 1/2" tailpipes exiting the muffler. The 3" tailpipe kit requires spare tire removal or extra "massaging" of the exhaust pipes or custom bent exhaust pipes after the muffler.
