The top ten suggestions for new events in the NASCAR CTS series.

#10 The Beer Bash 300- Teams are given the option of filling the truck bed with crushed empties or iced brews then racing 300 miles without receiving a littering citation or a DUI.

#9 Daytona Drive-in Dual 125's- A mandatory stop at the 125 mile mark requires the crew to watch a really bad "B" horror flick while seated in lawn chairs in the back of the race truck. The black flag will be given to any driver caught making out with his crew chiefs' wife during the break.

#8 The Furniture 500- Each driver will be required to move his brother-in-laws' complete living room set with a minimum of damage or "gettin' my velour couch rained on."

#7 Landfill at The Glen- Participants will be required to carry a minimum of four weeks garbage around the scenic road course.

#6 The Refrigerator Restart- A penalty imposed by those fun-loving NASCAR folks which not only asks teams to load the biggest Whirlpool they can find, but disallows the use of tie-downs,forcing two crew membersto ride in back and hang on to it.

#5 The Federal Baseball 400- Mailboxes are installed around the course. Style points are awarded for the most mailboxes destroyed by a passenger with a ball bat (or just running them over.)

#4 Bass Boat Brickyard 200- Each team is given a 20-foot Ranger loaded with tackle to tow for the duration of the race. This makes for interesting drafting techniques.

#3 The Long Lumber 250- All trucks are required to haul ten 2-by-8's that are at least eight feet longer than the truck itself. Sponsor's logos can be placed on the little red warning flag that's duct-taped on the end.

#2 The Overweight Cousin Who Won't Fit in the Cab 300- Self explanatory.

#1 The Firewood 500- Each team will be required to load (or unload) a full card of split hickory at each pit stop without breaking out the back window or snapping the rear axles, then racing 500 miles without losing more than 10% of the wood out onto the track.
