Notice anything different about the door? Hint...it's is very small, but very stupid and it is gone...

Not a great picture, but here is a shot of the new Corsa Sport:

A shot of the Corsa from the rear. YES--I know...the Honor Roll magnetic sticker needs to go, but anyone with kids knows that they are very persistant about these sorts of things. :( I am debating doing some debadging on the tailgate, but I'm not sure it would really make it look any better. Painting the handle and removing the top trim would probably look better...any suggestions? I'm still trying to sell the topper through ebay, but all I've gotten are people asking if it will fit on their F-150!

Here are a couple pics of the amp (kicker 400.1) and the sub. They were out of my old Lightning, and it adds a little bass if it is really cranked up, but not much. The seat really seems to soak up alot of the bass too. I'm not an audio guy, but I'm sure it needs something to interface better with the bose system...but I'm out of $$$ at this point so I'm just going to live with it. I tried a higher output amp and a different speaker, and it sounded even quieter!

Guess there's something shameful about driving a GM? My truck wears its GM badges with pride!

If I was shamed by GM, I would have bought something different or I'd put a tent over the enormous GMC badge on the grill. Although, now that I think about it, my buddy that drives an F-150 takes every chance he gets to point out Ford didn't take bailout $$$ from Obama...but that is another story and nothing to do with my debadging...

I just don't think the tacky little GM badge does anything for the look of the truck! If it looked nice, I would have kept it on. It is a small thing, but without it the side of the truck does look alot better...but that is just my opinion!

Quick question as I am getting ready to install a sub in my truck. Did you use the PAC AEOM-GM1416 adapter? And what channel did you use to run to your sub? Does using a different channel make a difference in the output?

Ok sorry that was 3 questions. Your truck looks great!

If you were closer, I'd take that cap off your hands but your not. :(

Good luck with the sale.

And the truck looks great..

Thanks alot for all the nice comments guys...to answer some questions....

A local shop did the amp/sub install. I don't think they ran any sort of adapter, but I just don't know anything about it. In fact, he did mention I would need an adapter or processor of some sort if I wanted to run a more powerful amp. It was $120 for the install of both, and I didn't see them do the work so all I see is some wires going out to the carpet...

Stevens07...ya know, Miami is just a quick drive down I95! Ok..maybe not so quick, but I'll take ya out for some drinks in the keys...

Daryl, it was 70 outside when I took the badges off. I used dental floss and ran it back and forth behind the badge for a little bit, then I GENTLY pryed the top back just enough to get an eye-glass screwdriver in there (without touching the paint), and then applied steady pressure. You could hear the glue slowly separating and finally the badge came off. That leaves a bunch of black glue with a funny looking up arrow symbol cut out (in case they put GM on upside down?). I then drenched the glue with goo-gone, waited for a few minutes, and scraped it off with my fingernail and a microfiber towel. Then, I used a little scratch remover to take off the outline of the emblem that remained and put a little Zaino wax on after that was done. It sounds like alot, but it took about 15-20 mins total. I was VERY worried I'd scratch the paint, but you can't tell anything was ever there and it looks great! A hairdryer would have been handy to warm the glue up more, but I was being lazy! :(

Sweet. As soon as it gets warm enough there being taken off of mine. I can't stand them, I think they clutter up the door to much.
