Ipod Adapter For Older Decks

I have a Pioneer Avic D1, Has anyone used the adapter (cb-100) that pioneer makes that lets you control your ipod on older decks?? All i've read is that it sucks and is not worth it.. Does anyone have any pictures of how it shows up on this deck or simillar or should I stick to the MP3 CD's..

My luck with Pioneer iPod adapters has been fine. I used it with a lower end deck than the Avic D1, but it worked fine.

 

A couple of things you should know, however, is the interface is slow. It takes a while to scroll through a list of songs/artists/etc to find something. I always recommend to people that they have playlists set up and just go off of that - otherwise it's just too difficult to find something, especially when you have thousands of songs.

 

I do like it though. It charges the iPod and interfaces well...it's just slow.

Alright thanks, My friend got one on his pioneer deck now and the only thing with his is you have to touch a couple buttons to get the interface to go to the songs and then after a little while it will go away and have to do it all again if you want to change the song
