2002 Gmc Sierra Slt 2wheel Drive 5.3 V8

Tomorrow I am going to look at a 2002 GMC Sierra SLT 2 wheel drive 1500, with trac-control, heated seats and towing package. Does this vehicle come with a tranny cooler from the factory by chance?

 

I am new here and any help will be much appreciated.

 

Vehicle I am going to see is: 2002 GMC Sierra SLT 2 wheel drive with topper. Price is $8000.00 Canadian. It's a 2 owner vehicle and is apprently real clean and been well looked after. It also has the 5.3L V8 with 135,000kms (83,900 miles).

 

Thanks for your time today and if anyone knows where I can find a link to all the specs in such for this vehicle that would be fantastic. I believe it has a 26 gallon fuel tank capacity.

If it has the trailer towing package it would have a stock cooler for sure, not sure about second truck, easy to see though, just look through grill and there will be small cooler in front of rad

Check for rear door rust on the bottom/ inside and the rockers. Some of them rust out fast. It sucks to buy something then realize it later. Take a good look. They are great trucks you'll love it if you buy.

I have a Chevy identical to the GMC you said you were looking at. It came with the tow package and has the aux. transmission cooler.

it should, just look through the grill for the dinky radiator for the trans....yes check for rust...and the paint, rust bubbles through it on those early gmt-800s...otherwise they are great trucks...

being its an slt i would say yes to the fogs...you should have almost every option

I didn't end up buying that 2002 SLT last weekend.

 

However this weekend, I will be looking at a 2003 SLE for $7500.00 with 200,000km (125,500miles). Same truck just a year newer but higher k. This one is two-tone paint as well, dark grey with pewter bottom and has a retractable box cover and is all stock with K & N air filter. Is a two owner vehicle, gentleman bought it off his friend and has all reciepts and has done required maintenance, repairs and replacements as per schedule in manual.

 

Do you guys know if the SLE has heated mirrors? The owner said it has power retractable mirrors, so that should mean they are heated and have that light installed in them too correct? Would this SLE have posi rear end and traction control? It has the factory tow package, so that means it automatically comes with a tranny cooler doesn't it? I was reading and it says on Edmunds.com, that the fuel capacity for 2003 is now 34 gallons (128Litres) is this right?
