4 Inch Lift

You calling my truck cheap looking?

The RC 5" is ok, but RC's products will never touch my truck again. RC doesn't have the quality products of other companies and their R&D is lacking. In other words, you get what you pay for. I suppose the body lift on my truck would look "cheap" if anyone could see it...but most are shocked to learn it's there. Think about it. A 3" body lift doen't adversely affect your suspension in any way and you get to maintain a completely stock ride. Add a 2" leveling kit and you have only slightly altered your CV,steering, and BJ angles. That would cost half of the RC kit and be a much better quality setup. If you must have a suspension lift, then look at BDS or Rancho.

I would have to agree with blackout. My truck does not look cheap my any means. If you must have a suspension lift then I'd say Rancho or BDS as well.

not yours specifically. i think it looks great. just not a big fan of the frame hanging down under the body and the gap under the rear wells.. thanks for the advice tho the bds is only 4 or 500 more than the rc and i know what u mean by you get what you pay for. in theory tho the lift shouldnt affect the bj angles or cv angles cuz of the new spindles and drops for the diff and lca... i know this is all theory tho!!!!

No ur right the suspension lift looks better. IF u get a good lift it will affect all the angles less than a body lift and 2" level kit would..

Definately. If you can turn a wrench and have some common sense then you can do the install. It's pretty easy to do on these trucks and if you have someone to lend a hand, then it will be much easier.

thats what i figured... the jokers at the shop told me it was really difficult so id pay em 500 for the install  . i thought to myself if i can change bj and take cv shafts out and take the tires off there isnt a whole lot more to it than that

ya but i dont have anything else goin on right now.... i almost all but made up my mind think im goin with the new readylift kit. one quick question man what all does it involve about the tire pressure sensors. you have to get new ones or what?

Hopefully you don't mean this one. And you can swap TPMS sensors to your new setup.

that's the one already ordered it havent paid for it yet so i guess im not obligated to anything but i dont see why everybody dogs on it.. i understand the lower bj issues but i can replace them a couple times for 800 dollars which is the diff in the bds lift.. im sure the bds is better
