'99 Suburban 2500... Obs Or Nbs?

IIRC, the trucks & the SUVs changed body styles at different year models? Or am I wrong?

 

Just trying to figure out figure what stuff will fit internally & externally...

'99 Suburban/Tahoe would be a GMT400 (Or OBS) There were no GMT800 SUV's produced in '99.

For 2000 they actually produced the Tahoe's in both GMT400 and GMT800 body styles.

Thanks Rich! I'm getting confused, since there appear to be several headlight configurations where mine has single lamps for both low/high beam...

Yep,Thats the GMT400 style,considered the "single headlamp" system.

My question is usually 350(gmt400)? 5.3, 4.8, 6.0(gmt800)? If they don't know whats the VIN..... CompNine the vin for decription.... But 99 should have a 350 so, OBS.

 

I would rather just have the VIN thou....

It has ALWAYS impressed me the number of GUYS that have no clue whats under the hood. I grin and politely say "What is the VIN #". Does not surprise when A lady doesn't know..... I don't expect them to always know... Ask my other half SHE KNOWS!!! Not many women change oil and can operate a 2 post lift!
