Ok everyone, who do you think would win in a straight line drag race from a stop.

A) '06 Silverado 2500HD CC SB 4x4 with Supercharged Big block Ally Combo, Headers, dual exhaust, blackbear tune and 3.73 gears.

B) '06 Silverado 2500HD CC SB 4x4 with Duramax Ally Combo, 3.73 gears, Banks system.

 

I welcome all opinions. Just curious as to what everyone thinks.

By the way both trucks are identical- tires, wheels, lift kit, AC etc......, the only difference would be the powertrains as mentioned above.

The diesel would win straight out of the hole, but I don't think it'd take long for that big block to catch up and pass it.

I would substitute my 4000 rpm custom tuning on the duramax, around 540 HP (no other mods), Duramax wins by a very large margin, at any distance. The 07 dmax is without question, the strongest motor GM has done recently. I don't think there is a supercharger that can approach the airflow of a 36 psi LBZ, around 70 lb/minute.
