Lowering Autoride?

Recommended Posts

I have a 2002 Denali, and well...like most GM SUV's it looks like it has something jammed up its butt.  But all around I want to lower it, nothing extreme.  Maybe 1.5 " up front and 2" in the rear, any ideas or available info on how to lower an AUTORIDE suspension without destroying it. ???

I, too, would like to lower my 01 Tahoe 4x4 Autoride about 1" in front and 2" in back, but I have not seen anybody who has such a kit, not even DJM.  At least bringing the rear down .5 or 1" would be good - it looks like there is a sensor at each rear wheel that has something that looks like this  O-O with a rod attached to one of the O's and the - is a pivot mount ... it looks like moving the rod to the rearward O might make the Autoride sense the rear is too high thus making it come down a bit and leveling the rear with the front.  I don't have the tools, etc, to try this but it looks like a simple thing to test.  Can somebody give this a try???
