Passenger Viewing Dvd

I know why there would be a safety installed on the in-dash screen when a DVD is playing...let's not distract the driver...but my girlfriend is really pissed that on road trips, she can't watch a movie without climbing into the back. I sort of agree with her. I know some states make it against the law to have this operational while driving, but I'll take my chances. Does anyone know how to disable this safety so DVD's can be viewed on the in-dash screen while driving?

you need a lockpick or a parking brake override.. they are available on ebay i believe.

I have heard, but I'm not too sure, that you can override it by grounding the wires to some metal on the truck. (Again, I'm not sure about this).
