2000 Silverado Lt With Factory Seperates Up Front?

Can both the mid and tweeter be replaced in the factory location? What sizes, adapters, and impedences do I need to make this work properly? Basically I don't know if there is a crossover feeding them, built into the headunit, etc. The entire audio system is stock and the pass side front door speaker is blown so I want to drop something decent into the stock location.

6.75" speaker is the measurement for a new speaker. most will buy a 6.5" and maybe put some Dynamat around it to get a nice air tight seal.

 

And yes, the factory speaker and tweeter can be replaced with aftermarket equipment in the original location.

 

Impedance's typically will usually be a 4 ohm.

The factory tweeter i believe has the cross over built onto it, so once you replace it with a new set, you're good to go.
