Window Issue

I have a 2009 Chevy Silverado Ext. Cab, and the driver window has been giving me problems. I have had it in the shop 4 times now and they never can get it to act up the have they have replaced the motor, regulator, and put new window switches in and it sill messes up occasionally. The last time I had it in the shop they left a note saying to wait a few seconds before trying to roll it down, and I have and every now and then it will still stop working. Sometimes the window is stuck down and wont go up and sometimes it up and wont go down. All the other windows work fine including the rear windows for the extended cab. Anybody else have these issues. Any help or advice is appreciated.

Thanks,

David

Wow, I'm having the same exact problem with mine. It's going in Weds to get looked at. I was having to open and close the door for it to work again. I'll let you know what my dealership says.

hmmm... i'd be checking the wiring/connectors/etc ESPECIALLY if opening/closing the door makes it work.

Sounds like a bad connection somewhere.

A truck with 7000 miles should not be having these problems... Door side mouldings are falling off for the 3rd time so its going in for that also, hopefully the 2010 seat covers i'm sick of the lint! Got to love the 3/36000 mile bumper to bumper!

My dealership said that they have checked everything I'm about to take it in for the fourth of fifth time. My only problem is it never does it when they have the truck so I honestly believe they think I am just making it up because all my paper work I get back says no problem found my truck has 15,000 miles but started when it had around 8,000 miles. I appreciate all the input and if any finds a solution please let me know I am tired of my truck being in the shop. I am paying for it I want to be able to drive it.
