Lift Planning Help...

I just picked up a new 2010 Silverado LTZ 4x4 Crew Cab. I plan doing the stage I lift from Pro Comp. I really like the wheels on the Silverado, so I would like to keep the wheels but get bigger tires. What is the largest tire that I could put on those stock rims?

As tall as you want, but probably no wider than 12.5 inch, which rim size??

Yeah I don't know what size. Its the stock LTZ chrome wheels 20 inches. I believe the tires are 275/55-20. I am not sure what width the rims are.

Yeah you have 8.5" wide rims, meaning 12.5" wide tires will fit on your rims, and still be within tire mfg specs. So the biggest tire you can run is a 35x12.5.

Nice choice of pro comp, great brand, DaveV is right about the 35"s with that particular lift. If you went with a stage II I do believe you'd be able to squeeze 37"s in there but they'd still have to be 12.50

Oh I just saw these replies and I posted another thread about if my stock wheels will fit 33s and 12.5s... I appreciate your help guys! I decided to go with rough country 5 inch lift because with it I can use stock wheels. The pro comp folks told me I need new rims with 5.5 inch off set.
