Ride Control And Bilstein Install

After my 7 month vacation in Afghanistan I have finally got the chance to get eveything installed that has been sitting in the garage. The Bilstein adjustable shocks are the best modification yet and the Ride control bags have really helped keep the truck more controlled. Here are some pictures. Sorry about the dirty underside, Carolina forest is not the best place for pretty belly shots.

I have the same airbag setup and love it! I have my compressor mounted under the hood and its pretty loud, isn't it kind of annoying to have it inside the cab?

No not really, under the seat you dont hear it much. Also it only comes on when either under 10 PSI (auto switch), or if I need to air up or adjust. Plus it keeps it out of the weather.

Next question, The 3500 I'm driving is a Duramax. It already has an air pump on it. Can this air pump be used to operate the airbag??

I suppose you could run a inflation line from your current pump with some creative modifications then just use the manual fill valves in the back of the truck.

Thanks, It is a Fab Fours bumper, Courteous of the NC state tropper that rear ended me about 10 months ago.

When I have time I think I may put in a quick connect some where and a shutoff valve to the bags. That way it can be used as a compressor for a low or flat tire as well.

I just installed my AirLift air bags a few weeks back. How do you set it so it auto fills the bags to 10psi? Do you just mount the sensor lower on the frame?

I have an adjustable sensor in line by the compressor (5-10 PSI range). I do not see it on their website but it came with the compressor. Might want to call them, should be cheap.
