Seems to be that way,My '07 and all my previous trucks were like that, might not have been exactly 2",but they all had a rake to them.

Guess I thought MOST trucks were that way, to allow the suspension to squat without bottoming out when loaded down either in the bed or with a trailer.... not to mention keeping the front end from lifting and adversely affecting handling.

Yup 2 inches sounds right.

Just enough to make a pond in the bed if you have a bed liner.... I do not have a pond maker in my truck but every one of our delivery trucks do.

I have heard the purpose once before as to why a rake is planned into the suspension before.... Who knows why refresh my memory... I know my C60 HAS NO RAKE and never has... They handle better without the rake....

The 2007 trucks are about 3 inches higher in the rear. The rear lift blocks makes the GMT-900 trucks look really high from the rear.

yup, most trucks are like this so that they are level with a load in the bed or towing s traailer.
