My drivers side window is rolling up very slowly so can I just replace the motor or do I replace the whole regulator? I have never had to do this before. Thanks

You may just need to lubricate the regulator. If not, then the motor should solve it.

If it were me and I had to tear out the regulator to replace the motor anyway I'd replace the entire assembly. You can pick it up from www.rockauto.com for about $69.

I had that happen to my 02 Sierra, first the passenger side started to slow down and eventually quit working, could still hear the motor running but no movement, not concerned left it go, moved to florida drivers side went out on me, went to AutoPartsWarehouse.com ordered both side motor/regular assemblies for $80 shipped, installed locally and worked perfectly and alot more quiet then stock part, truck is gone but worked great for the time of having the truck
