Rpo Codes On 2010 Silverado

Friends,

I printed out the RPO Codes and went to my glove compartment to read up on all the goodies my new truck has and .... no RPO list in the glove compartment!

So, my question is: Obviously, GM moved the location of the RPO Codes. Where can I find them on my new RED TRUCK? :uhoh:

Thanks a million, in advance.

Grrrrrrrr!! Dummy me.

I went back and looked. It's silver and, it seems to me, maybe a bit smaller. Anyway, the RPO codes are absolutely there.

THANK YOU.

Yeah,There harder to read last few years since they put some kind of transparent gray film over them.

Friend MS3Dale,

Now that was really interesting.

Basically, my truck is a pretty well-dressed LTZ Z-71, but I wanted to know about the trailer package, oil cooler, transmission cooler and things like that. And, interestingly, the window sticker leaves out a bunch of these facts.

By going back on the RPO Codes, I found out that my truck does indeed have the following:

KC4 - Cooling, external engine oil cooler

KNP - Cooling, auxiliary external transmission oil cooler

Z82 - Trailering Package for MYC 6-speed transmission, heavy-duty

Other things, like the Integrated Trailer Brake Controller, I can see and others are listed, but it is really neat to be able to go to the RPO Codes and see precisely what equipment is on my new RED TRUCK.

By the way, I'm an old fella of 67 and things like wheels, wheelhouse liners and tires don't mean a whole lot to me. Having said that, the 18-inch wheels just simply "look right" as far as size balance and I love the new wheels. And I really, really LOVE the wheelhouse liners ... they simply finish the truck.

Dang it, I love this new RED TRUCK

Thanks again for the help,

Damn, a geezer older then me. I will be 66 in July. :jester:

But we surely STILL LOVE our trucks and, hopefully, that will never end.

Guess what ... mine's VICTORY RED. :uhoh::lol::jester:

I typed in my VIN, but there was no record. My truck may be too new to be in the database yet. I'll keep trying.

I typed in the VIN# of our 2004 Tahoe and it came up with EVERYTHING. I definitely want to get this full workup of my new 2010 Silverado. That would be ultra Cool.

Thank you.
