Any One Ever Have Their Leather Seats Re Upholstered?

My driver side for sure needs a to be re-leathered (doubt thats the right term) not the whole thing, but where the seat belt goes down in to the seat it tore and is getting worse and worse. anyone ever have all or parts of their seat re done?

I've never done it, but I know the OEM leather is available on eBay for reasonable prices if you wanted to go back with that.

 

I'd look up upholstery shops in your area, both automotive and even furniture upholstery. See if they will give quotes for you supplying the pre-made OEM pieces or custom making it. A regular furniture store may want you to remove the seats yourself and bring them in, but that's not difficult. Just think outside the box, the economy is a little slow right now so if you present this in the right way you might be able to get a bid war going between a couple different places.

go to a custom shop or a local upholstry shop. look at the catskin leather. its pretty nice
