Painting Plastic Valances And Grilles

I want to paint the plastic valance and grille on my 2003 Sierra. Is there a good paint and primer system that is available in spray cans? Has anybody done this, and if so what did you use? Any help is greatly appreciated. mtmuley

Prep is key if you want to rattle can paint anything. Make sure you either scuff (smooth plastics) or sand (textured plastics) well, use an adhesion promoter (BullyDog IIRC) to keep it on there, and as for paint I have no idea what is available to you. Whatever brand you end up using just know that it will not be as good as the stuff shot out of a spray gun.

Krylon makes a spray can for plastic. I ve done a Silverado SS grill and it took perfect and did not peel. Take grill off, alcohol wipe down prep and paint. No primer. You can buy at almost any store.
