No Throttle Response

Sometimes if I'm slowing down to stop at a red light I will let off the brake before stopping and press the gas to jump in front of traffic.

 

When I do this, the truck doesn't respond for about 2 seconds. The engine doesn't respond, or anything. It's done it a few times and is scary because when I'm pulling onto a main road and pull out into traffic the last thing I need is no response.

 

Is this torque managment? Anybody else have this happen?

TM is the stupidest thing ever.

 

 

FYI, Ford is doing the same thing on the new 5.0 mustangs.... their own version of Torque Management. I think it's become an industry-wide standard.
