Looking to get a trifold tonneau cover for my 08 Sierra Ext Cab, looking for anyone with a Extang Trifecta with some pros and cons, durability, etc. Thanks !

All I can say is get it. They are great, I have one on my 09'. Only con is you have to remove it when you want to haul something all the way up against the back window. How often does that happen?

I have the Trifecta Signature Series on my truck and I love it. The Signature series is canvas instead of vinyl. It's easy fold / unfold and you can take it off or put it back on in less than 5 minutes by yourself.

Here's some pictures of mine.

My only comment is the soft tonneaus can't support much weight on top so you may want to get the Extang Solid Fold for heavy snow winters. I've never seen one, but it looks like the same basic design (easy open/close and on/off).

Got one on my Silverado CC. LOVE IT! Had a Fold A Cover on my last truck and while it was secure it was a pain if I had to remove it to haul large objects. As for snow on the Trifecta don't worry about it, I live in Ohio and we had a lot of snow this past winter!

I am looking at getting a Trifecta but I had a quick question. Could someone that has it give me the measurement of how much bed space it takes up when completely folded. Basically the distance from the front edge of bed to where the extang ends.

On a 6'6" bed, it will take up just over 2'. By take up, I mean it will leave 2' covered when folded up. I have the vinyl Trifecta, fits and works good. I got it purely for the lifetime warranty on all components.

I also have the Trifecta Signature Series on my truck. Extang has excellent customer service. I used to have one of their covers on my S10 and after a couple of light Arizona winters the cover shrunk and wouldn't clip to the rail any longer. I called them on the phone and they sent me an entire new cover without making me send back the original. No hastles. That cover was a custom color for a S10 longbed too. They had to special make it. That's why I didn't even look at the competition when it came time to buy a cover for this truck. I don't mind spending a few extra bucks if I know the customer service will be top notch.

I have the vinyl on a crew cab. It's great. VERY minor leaks at the corners - most likely because the GM bed rail caps create enough of a gap to let some drops sneak in. Sometimes I wish I'd shelled out for the solid-fold version so I could more confidently rest things on it.

Thanks for the measurement but it turns out I already got one.

Found one used on craigslist and went over to take a look. Looks brand new, the vinyl especially looks like it was just taken out of the box. Here's the best part: I got it for $180!! I couldn't believe how easy it is to install also. Here's a quick pic.
