Line-x Discoloring

My dad had his Line-x sprayed when he bought his truck a year ago and he has a leer cover on the bed and a mat in it as well. When he washes the bed out with normal car wash and water, it will discolor to more like a blue-ish color, looks like it's trying to turn white, everywhere but where the bed mat lays on the bottom, where it stays black. When it dries it goes back to black and looks completely normal. Just curious why it would do this, because it's not faded and doesnt see sun, anyone have ideas?

Possibly chemicals the mat is putting onto the bed or chemicals from the paint in the mixture.

oh ok, just curious like I said where the mat is doesnt discolor just everywhere else.. no big deal just odd I thought

Is it a genuine Line-X product or a knock off?
