I have a 2010 RCSB Silverado and for some odd reason the RPM's bounce when the AC is on, when your driving and its on the rpm guage will bounce up and down and you can feel it as you drive, when the ac is off it does it also but not as noticeable other then the guage, what I wana know is if this is normal or not, its really annoying to have ur truck bouncing as your driving, its almost like im better off not using the ac but living in Florida you need it. IF anyone knows please reply, I just bought the truck on 4/27/2010 with 174 miles.

Everything it new and tight. New trucks are drive by wire. AC is putting a load on the engine and the rpms will change with laod, my CTS does. Give it a 1,000 miles before you start worrying about problems, you will learn to stop looking at the tach all the time.
