It idles a bit rough when cold started.....I live in south Texas so its hot! Sounds good coming out of exhaust, but truck shakes a bit(no not bad) when motor is cold. No slapping being heard, and only last about a minute. It might just be new truck jitters, breaking in?, but I feel it.Anyone else sense this?Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.Has ~1200 miles on it and has not been abused. Thanks

common to the breed..they run them so lien that they will be rough at startup/idle/stop lights etc.....I know as I bought mine and took it back to the dealer. They said nature of the beast. I went out and started three new trucks and they were worse! Went to a good progressive up to date shop in town and they said the same thing..lien.....and my friends 07 was worse than mine!

Two things I did do was switch to Mobil1 @ 3,000 AND ran a can of BG 44k thru it...it helped a lot...I run the bg 44k every 15-20m miles in all my drivers...I also run Chevron/Texaco with Techron....

As long as no noise etc..you should be ok...I know mine was better after a few miles and that includes the tranny...except for the bucking I posted in another thread

Well first, I think you mean "lean"....

And I don't agree with that AT ALL. With the stock tune I had on my truck when it was new, on a cold start up you could actually smell raw gas in the exhaust, and it ran demonstrably rich. I actually had to lean it out some when I re-tuned it with HP Tuners.
