04' Silverado 2500hd Code Po332, Help

as title says.

04' silv. 2500HD 6.0L

PO332 Knock Sensor 2 Circuit Low Input (Bank 2)

 

wheres the knock sensors on a 6.0? are they under the intake, what would cause this code, is the sensor bad or is the harness messed up? im lost, the truck runs fine and DOESNT KNOCK... haha.

seems like i have a bad sensor but i need to know where they are, wiring diagrams etc....

I know on the 5.3's, it's under the intake manifold...But I'm not 100% on the 6.0's...On my car, it's not under there...

that seems to be the issure im having. im 90% sure they are under the intake. seems to be a common problem too. thanks

Well even if it's under the intake manifold, it's still not all that difficult. Although the ones on the side of the block are REALLY easy.

 

I'm sure somebody will chime in soon that knows.

The knock sensors are located under the intake manifold on the 4.8,5.3 and 6.0 GEN III.Pretty simple and straight forward job.

The sensors are bad about corrosion as they age,especially if you take a water hose or pressure washer to it.LOL
