Auto Ac Sensor

On a 2005 crewcab 5.3l I have the auto ac controls and i'm wondering where is the sensor for the ac located?

If I remember correctly the one for inside the cab is right over the driver seat in the headliner. Thats where it is in my 10. I dontthink they changed it.

Has anyone put a shutoff in the heater hoses going in to the cab?
