Electric Door Lock Not Working

2007 Sierra- new body style

 

The electric door lock switch is not working. I have checked the fuses and they are all fine. If you press the passenger side switch all the doors will lock and unlock.

 

I pulled the switch off the drivers door panel and did notice some white looking corrosion on one of the pins. I cleaned it and put it back together but it did not fix the problem. Is this a switch problem, or something else?

 

Any suggestions?

If you can, take the switch off of the passenger side and try it plugged into the drivers side. See if it works or not. If it does, then you know you have a bad switch.

Yep, that was the problem. I installed the new switch last night and all is well now.
