Transmission Issues, '03 4l60e

Hey there techs,

First off just wanna say thanks and maybe you guys cant point me in the direction of what my transmission is doing. i bought the truck used so i dont know prior history.

 

first, the transmission shifts pretty good from 1 to 2 almost like a shift kit, but never drove a truck with one, always drove straight drives *first auto*. but then if i shut it off, and hop in it to go again, it shifts smooth as a brand new truck i would say. Know i know these trucks are electronic controled. So would taking it to a dealership would their computers be able to help diagnose this?

 

and my other prob is the 2 to 3 shift, sometimes its like there is a gear between sometimes hangs there for a split of a second then goes into 2nd. Slipping? but its not doing it all the time

 

I am saving for a rebuild and hopefully to put in some upgraded parts, anybody know of any good companies to buy from for the upgraded what ever i might need?

Fluid is pretty clean actually for the miles it has on it...

gm scanners are meant for the transmission as well and if there is a problem a code will be in the PCM and a diagnoses from a pro is required

mine and the 3 other gmt-800s i know of do it, almost like a bump in the shift?
