Truck Vibrations

2001 2500 HD CC LB 4WD while recently returning from a camping trip, we experienced some serious vibration issues with the truck. Recently had it looked at and while they found that the two front tires had worn down, the right rear was bably worn down. The left rear is almost like new tread depth wise.

 

Mechanic recommends 3 new tires, and replacing the outer and inner Tie Rod ends, replace the idler arm and the pitman arm, That and an alignment. Grand total $2,400+......

 

What I dont understand is if it is these parts from the front end, why did the right rear tire wear down so bad. He said all bearings looked great.
