New Truck W Lots Of Problems

So i just aquired a 1997 GMC Yukon 4WD 2dr. It seems like i just keep on finding issues.

1. I randomly hear this long ringing tone that is the same as when i start it but it doesn't go away sometimes. I'll start it and it will just stay on and sometimes i'll just be driving and it will come on and stay on and sometimes just go away. It kinda seems to be alternator related sometimes. I hear the belt squeal and see the volts drop on the gauge and it will start. other times nothing seems to help.

2. I have coolant leaking from the connection below the top rad hose...new radiator?

there is many other things but its mainly just fluids and brakes. I'm just worried about the alarm like noise.

How many miles? 5.7L I assume? I've always wanted one of the Ex-K-5 Blazer/2 Door full size Blazer/Yukon's!

I'm going to say your probably looking at a cracked radiator and will need to replace that, they are very difficult to patch up and generally don't last. As for the long ringing tone, I can't help you there. Check Engine light on?

yeah thats pretty much what i thought, wasn't sure if anyone had success in removing the fitting and sealing.

as for the ringing, check your alternator fan blades. sometimes if they get bent a little they will contact the alternator and you can hear it hitting. also make sure the pulley is on tight, and not slipping a little..
