Just saw this article over at pickuptrucks.com:

http://news.pickuptrucks.com/2010/07/drive...max-diesel.html

Shows a 2wd RCLB Duramax doing a sub-6 sec 0-60 and a sub-15 sec 1/4 mile. Pretty quick for a stock powered truck. It says that this is a new configuration, which I think just means that you couldn't ever get a 2wd RCLB Duramax as my father has an 06 4wd RCLB Duramax. (Edit: This actually means the first in time since the GMT800 trucks apparently. The article finally clarified.) It also says that the GM guys goal was to make the fastest and most fuel efficient truck in the GM lineup, but they fell short in both categories as the 6.2 liter is quicker and the hybrid model gets better hwy fuel economy. Still not bad if you ask me.

Pull your 20k pound trailer during the day, and race at night..stock. Definitely impressive 1/4 and 0-60 times. Traction might be quite an issue though!

according to the article:

The best zero-to-60 time? According to Deep, it's only 5.86 seconds. Not too shabby for a 6,522-pound work truck. Aint no stock 6.2L going to be doing that. Even in RCSB form :ughdance:
