Towing Trailer

Well like the title says....I looking at buying a 1977 18ft. Road Ranger Travel Trailer (est. weight 3000 LBS) I have a 1.5" leveling kit on the front. What I don't want the nose of the truck up in the air and the rear end squated down while I'm going down the road so....I was looking at replacing the 1.25" rear block with a 2" rear block.

Would it be worth it ?

You need an equalizer hitch. Problem solved! Plus it's a TON safer and easier to drive.

Although I don't completely disagree with the equalizer hitch, with 3000 lbs, you'll hardly know the trailers there. If your really that worried, the 2" block would be just fine. But for all the more you really tow, is it really worth it to you to sit exactly level while traveling to/from a campsite.

Well I will be going over some moutain passes and just dont want any problems with it. I do relize that bags are the better way or a different hitch. Just want it to go down the road well.

I have the firestone kit. Best money I have ever spent. Plus you can level the load with different weights.
