Need New Brakes!

Hey guys I think I need some new break pads. When I come to a slow stop my breaks screetch really bad. I'm thinking I just need to replace the pads. What is a good quality brake pad? I heard ceramic pads are good but not sure what brand to go with.

Alot of members like the Napa Ceramics, Hawk, and EBC. Should be good with any of those.

I called NAPA and I think I might go with those. My truck shakes quite a bit when I brake, so does this mean I should get new rotors also?

Either have them cut or replace the rotors.

I spoke to the guy from napa and he priced out NAPA 80os or something like that. Rotors and pads for $450 CAN. Not sure if I should machine or just replace my rotors all together.

You can get 4 slotted rotors with pads for around $380 on eBay. $450 sounds too much.

 

Take your truck to a brake shop and ask them if they can inspect your rotors. Having them machined should cost $10 per rotor.

Wow that is a good deal. My truck is the Classic Z71 2007 is this ok?
