Im sure theres a way... but if i told you how, there would be wires going everywhere and your truck would be covered in electrical tape

Should be able to just run a diode in the direction from your turn signal to the DRL and not the other way around.

BTW, your sig is a little big, might want to scale it down a tad

They don't necessarily have to flash. Its at night when they will get you. Its bad enough in my town...but the town down the road will write you a ticket for the least infraction and sometimes when not an infraction and the local courts back them up. They say blue is associated with law enforcement and they don't like to see them on other vehicles.

+1 on that one. Blue or red on the front of a vehicle gets you a cool ticket up here. In university my buddy and I did some "Night Rider" LED's that fanned from the center of his grill on his mustang to the edge and back in. Looked slick. Cops didn't think it was so cool. We were out with a couple of girls on a date, and got pulled over by a bicycle cop. Pretty funny for me, but he was 1 ticket from getting his license pulled and negotiated that he ripped them out right there on the street. We ended up modifying it so red when the car was stationary, and amber when driving.

But like they say "it's only illegal if you get caught". I've seen trucks with blue bulbs and a lot of vehicles with tinted side windows (also illegal here). They don't seem to enforce that.

Are the DRL's just regular bulbs (like your taillights), or standard H4 or whatever those are called? The regular headlight bulbs would probably burn out faster if you kept flashing them. I notice that dodge turns off the DRL bulb on the side that the blinker is on.

the DRL's in that truck are Sylvania 4114LL (Long Life). theyre not the same as the headlights. theyre basically the same as a reverse light bulb but the 4114 will last longer.

i actually replaced mine with a set of hyper white LEDs, which have a hint of blue, and rigged it so that they came on with my high beams, which are HIDs. looks quite nice. i just used a diode and jumped the fuses in the under hood fuse box. i dont see why that wouldnt work in your case. just jump the DRL fuse to the signal bulb fuse. there could be an issue though since the DRL isnt a dual filament bulb like the turn signal is. maybe replace the DRL bulb with a amber turn signal and that might work. what also might happen is that youll still get a constant light for the DRL and it will just blink bright when the turn signal comes on (much like how a turn signal blinks when the parking lights are on).

Your theory is flawed because the DRL is constantly getting power, and if you hooked up the blinker fuse to it with a diode, the only time it would actually blink is when it's off, when the headlights are on.

Can't help. In tennessee its against the law to have a flashing white light in the front of the vehicle. I guess you could put amber bulbs in them....

I changed my DRL's to amber with the dual stage lights
