Erratic O2 Sensor Readings

I have been trying to diagnose a high load, high rpm ping on my '04 5.3 which happens inconsistently. A good friend suggested it may be the MAF and he had me unplug it and there was no ping. This problem comes and goes so I am not 100% sure. I did make 6 full throttle runs and had no ping before I plugged the MAF back in. The truck does have a CAI and dual catback. When I had a granettelli tune it was worse so the tune has been out for a long time. I drove it with a scanner plugged in and found the two O2 sensors on bank one having very erratic readings. The value was actually jumping real low and then high increasing by multiples of 10-12 then dropping again. The two sensors on bank two had constant change but in small variation. What can cause this?

What seemed abnormal was it is only doing this on one bank. What do you think about the MAF causing the ping? Is there another way to daignose it?

Do you have a "wet" CAI on your truck?
