DIN size for GM Cassette Deck?

I think my '03 is coming with a cassette, was supposed to have only a CD, am/fm, XM Radio.  I was planning on putting a CB in the space where the cassette would have been,

 

What I am wondering is:

1-is the cassette in the center console with a truck that has bucket seats?

2-is it usually this DIN size of 2x7?

3-Should it cause any problem to unplug the cassette and place the CB in its place?

If they didn't change the design of the center console, then

1.  Yes

2.  No, I believe it is more like 2 x 5.  If you note the time of this post, you'll notice I'm not too close to my truck right now but I'll measure it tomorrow.

 

3.  Only if you have any cassettes you want to listen to.

Thanks for the help. I am trying to mount  a small Uniden CB HxWxD of 1.5"x 4.5"x6.5" and a Radio Shack scanner 2"x6 7/8"x 6 7/8". I think that depth measurement includes the knobs, so I can make one fit in the console.
