Lift Or Level

i want to upgrade my wheels and tires. currently i have the stock 16's wrapped in a 255/70-16. i want to go to 17's and 285/75-17 nitto terra grapplers. do i just need a level or do i have to lift. it is a 2wd. i know the rears will fit. but what what do i need to do

ok so i think im going with the truxxx 2.5" level from rocky mountain suspension. then a fabtec 3" lift later. also from the smae place. its like $780. any objections? everyones input would be nice

Sorry but I am not sure about a 2wd, those tires will fit a stock 4wd with no lift as long as they are on stock wheels or at least on wheels that have the same offset and width as stock.

well what i found just talkin with my boss. we sit and look at lifts all day and sit on this site. your tax dollars at work. we find things for each other. he has an 07 z71 4wd. but this is the best deal and from people i know fabtech has a pretty good quality setup
