Onstar Speaker?

With me adding a amp to my front comp, I will lose my onstar speaker correct?

 

Wondering is it possible to change the wiring on my GM-Lan harness to switch the left rear speaker with the front left speaker and still retain chimes and onstar speaker or what do I need to do? I thought about maybe adding a speaker under the dash or possibly just a seperate tweeter to run. If anyone can shed some light it would be greatly appreciated

I think it just runs through your cars stereo, Ive never used our onstar. But I would bet the unit just has a lead down inside that sends audio to the stereo, amp shouldnt hurt it, but onstar might have a little more bass

 

Anyways ill ask a few people and see, but I think it should still be wired into the head unit.
