Rv Brakes

I am trying to help my B-I-L correct an issue with brake controller wiring. His truck is a 2005 Chevy, with V-6. It did NOT come with a factory harness for the brake controller. Controller is installed with a Hopkins adapter plugged into under-dash panel, as several sites show. Also, red lead is installed on post of fuse panel under hood. Necessary fuses appear to be in place......... But, still there is no power to the controller box or brakes on the camper.

All clearance lights, brake lights, turn signals work correctly.

Any help or directions to a knowledgeable site is appreciated!

Thanks, David :dunno:

Next thing I'd check would be the ground wire. Be sure it is making good metal to metal contact.
