Did Nav Mod And Now My Xm Doesn't Work

Ok so I did the Navigation and 6 disc changer mod a while back and I just paid for XM service and 10 hours later it still doesn't work! I called 5 times today and they keep doing a "Refresh" that doesn't do Sh&!! Now they tell me I need to take my truck to the dealer and have them check my hardware. I also just had my Onstar upgraded from Analog to Digital so I could use it and it works great along with my 6 disc changer AM, FM1 and FM2 so I don't think it's the unit. Is there something else I can check my self before I take it up the A@! at the dealer for $95 bones an hour?????

  Third time. Some consumption is 'masked' by fuel dilution, soot formation, acid formation of blowby gasses. Oil consumed offset by degradation products produced. 2 to 8% How much is that of your sump volume? for Pepper that is 4 ounces to a pint of oil. Why is everyone aware that we check transmission fluids at operating temperatures due to thermal expansion and ignorant or at least dismissive about this issue for the engine oil? Ever allow a motor to drain at oil change for a period of 'overnight"? Measure on the dipstick every quarter hour for say 2 hours and educate yourself. Then let is sit overnight (cooler) and ask the expansion and dilution questions again. 😉

  $3.93 for 87 octane. $4.73 for 93 octane. $4.70ish for diesel. But a short drive can see prices swings as high as $5.30's still.

  Thanks for the reply. Im not sure what you mean by the hype Nate puts out. I dont really know much about either trans. I do hear more about the 10 speed transmission having issues but im sure it's only a small % of them that are manufactured. I have heard that the 10 keeps you in the power curve more with less Rpm drop. My stepfather has a 10 speed in his 1/2 ton and im not crazy about the way it shifts and he has started experiencing shudder at 100k.
