Testing Xm Receiver?

Is there a way to test my xm receiver so I don't have to take it to the dealer??????????

OK SO I ENDED UP TAKING IT TO THE DEALER AND COME TO FIND OUT THE XM RECEIVER IS WORKING SO THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THE WIRING. SINCE I DID THE NAVIGATION MOD THERE WAS WIRING CHANGES THAT HAD TO BE DONE SO IF ANYONE CAN HELP ME, I NEED TO KNOW WHAT WIRES TO CHECK FOR THE XM PART OF THE HARNESS BEHIND THE UNIT AND AT THE AMP. THANKS
