Newbie Idiot Light Questions

I'm looking at changing the headlights and tail lights on my 2010 GMC sierra and go with a "black" theme. i live in the middle of no where (newfoundland, canada) so my main place for parts is Ebay. Smoked headlights and tail lights are illegal here so i want to go with the clear lens/black combo projectors with the halo.

I'm wondering if tail lights from the 07-09 will fit on my 2010?

 

Some websites are saying yes but most are saying 07-09 only.

 

any ideas?

Not 100%, but as far as I recall, the standard duty GMT900 has had no changes to lights or body sheet metal.

Rocky Harbour....been there many many times. It's doesn't get much nicer than Gros Morne.

I do think the tails are different. As in the plugs are assigned differently. If I remember correctly. But not 100%. Sorry

First of all if your going to shit on a guy, don't just quote the negative, I did thank people in advance, as well as the title said newbie idiot. I'll be the last one in here that will say i know everything. The question was a simple yes or no question, that i didn't know.
