Rear Door Panel Rattle On Crew Cab

Recommended Posts

Does anyone have the top of the rear door panel rattle on their gmt-900 crew cabs? Both of mine do and everyone thought my speakers were blown but I started messing with it and realized its the soft panels, if anyone has had this did they figure out a way to fix it?

I had the same problem. I took the door panel off and placed a strip of foam tape between the metal and the door panel. I haven't heard a rattle since. It was kind of a hassle but it's nice.

I have Dynamat in my doors and the speakers will rattle my door panels like crazy. I have a sheet of foam behind the door panel and I placed big foam squares at the top corners to keep them from rattling. All fixed for now.

I put a piece of soft pad on the back side of the lock. Actually I used Velcro but it just like a soft pad lol.
