Front Springs

Hello all, new to the forum. I have a 1997 1500 GMC Sierra with factory tow package. I am getting ready to re-do the whole front end. Everything from inner/outer tie rod ends to rotors/calipers, bushings and upper/lower ball joints. My question is, I want to get rid of the factory "rake" that the truck sits at. It sits nice in the rear due to oversize leafs from the tow package, but has that frontward lean that those year trucks have. I want it level. Anyone else have this problem and have a solution for it. I have a Grand National that I did a few years back and it was a pain in the a@@ to get it to sit right. Went through three sets of springs before I got it right. I ended up with a spring that was a half inch shorter than stock, but had a stiffer spring rate so I am sure that may come into play in this application as well. I am going to have the front end apart already, and only want to do it once. Thank you ahead of time. Sorry forgot to mention that it is a two wheel drive.
