Spectre Cold-air Intake

I installed a Spectre Cold Air intake on my 03 Silverado and now it breathes too good. The truck idles very low now and almost dies when I am coming to a stop. Anyone experienced this? And do you have to have the computer tuned to increase the idle?

Did you perform a relearn procedure when you installed the CAI? On computer controlled vehicles when you do a mod like this you need to disconnect the negative battery cable for several minutes then reconnect. I would just unplug before installing then reconnect, either way is fine though. Failure to do this can result in these vehicles running lean/rich sometimes.

 

P.S. - A custom tune isn't necessary but will really help you get the most out of these kind of mods.
