'03 Denali Xl Awd System Clicking Noise

Hey guys, thanks for the help.

 

I'm driving a 2003 Denali XL (SUV), my awd (or stabli system) would act up making some clicking/grinding noise under the dash (sounds like a broken relay or solenoid)... sometimes that happens during start-up when I put in DRIVE... sometimes it happens when I purposely spin the rear (i.e. on snow) and it's trying to engage the awd system.

 

Hope someone's fixed this problem before.

if it truly AWD it IS engaged all the time ,there is no actuator ,no range but high.

 

so just take it in and get a shop foreman to hear what your complaint is and pay for the diagnoses and estaimate for repair and think about hastle to fix it yourself or paying for the convenience of having it fixed at the shop with a year warranty
