Micky Thompson Mtz

After researching for several weeks and finding out that several tires I wanted were out of stock and might not be in for some time I heard of the Micky Thompson MTZ's and had them installed today. I can't believe how good they ride and how quiet they are for the kind of tire they are.

I got 275/70/18. I don't think I got hurt too bad on the deal, the wheels are off a 2010 Chevy (he had to get me some GMC center caps) that he let me have for 300 and paid 325 each for the tires total price plus tax or 1378.

I might have to take off my Weathertech mud flaps, they are find for street driving, but once I get into some heavy mud I'm not sure they'll fare too well. I do have the RC leveling kit.

The only thing is after they did a relearn it shows the corrrect tire pressure (50psi) but each time I start the truck it shows the Check left front tire, check right front tire and so on for all four tires.

They guy that knows the most about these wasn't there today and they said to come back Monday. I called the service dept where I bought my truck and I might have just as well asked somebody off the street. No clue. Anyway, here are some pics. Also, these were bought for waterfowl season and the 20's will go back on as soon as there is no chance of snow left.

Ha ha, now look. I hadn't even got the whole title typed in when somehow I guess I hit the submit button, that's why when you looked there was nothing there.

Nice, where did you get the gmc center caps for those wheels? A part number, and a price would be great.

I didn't have to pay for them. He just kept the ones with the chevy emblem on them. I'll be talking with him Monday and see what info he can provide.
